The aim of the Invictus Games is to support the recovery of wounded, injured and sick international soldiers, police officers and rescue workers. The games are a common goal that the physically or mentally injured work towards - and, according to those affected, an extremely important motivation to find their way back to life through the power of sport. Our client was the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) as the organizer of Invictus Games 23 in Düsseldorf.
An Out-of-home campaign in the host city brought the spirit of the Invictus Games closer to the citizens: giving up is not an option.

In the context of the games, the Bundeswehr also ran a special campaign to raise awareness of a particular injury that is invisible from the outside: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This required full commitment. The assignment included the full service program from the concept to the photo shoot to the final artwork.
